The HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR Gen10 is a PCIe-based RAID controller with 8 external SAS lanes via 2 x4 mini-SAS HD ports. It supports RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 with a maximum transfer speed of 12 Gbit/s. The controller is compatible with HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers and MSA SAN storage units. It features no cache memory and optional encryption via HPE Smart Array SR Secure Encryption.
